Frances Hamilton Painting

Frances Hamilton has worked in narrative books and collage for many years. Recent oil paintings focus on experiences at Squam Lake, N.H. and Gloucester, MA. These images are done on site in familiar settings and invoke memories of summer vacations and family gatherings. Hamilton’s work can be seen at the Patricia Carega Gallery in Center Sandwich, NH and at Flatrocks Gallery in Gloucester, MA. She is currently working on a collection of monotype collages which are inspired by antique toys.
